By following this tutorial, you will be able to set up your ad campaigns correctly, achieve more profit, and get consistent and stable results without your ads dying every few weeks.

Now, let’s dive into the tutorial and take a look at some of the results from the campaigns. In the last 60 days, this campaign had a 2.25% conversion rate and an average cost per action of $8.84. We spent over $1400 on this campaign, and it has consistently provided profitable results.

Phase One: Testing Ad Creative

The first part of the strategy is phase one, where we test our ad creative. To do this, you will need at least two ads. Set up a campaign and create two ad groups with the same audiences. The only difference between the ad groups should be the ads themselves. This allows us to isolate the variable and determine which ad is performing better.

Set a minimum budget of $20 per day for each ad group and let them run for three days. At the end of the three days, compare the results and select the ad that performed better.

Phase Two: Testing Audience

Once we know which ad is working, we move on to phase two, where we test the audience. Create a new campaign and set up two ad groups with different audiences. Use the winning ad from phase one in both ad groups.

Now that we have more data, we can analyze the audience and optimize for the highest click-through rate. Look for metrics that indicate which ad is the winner.

  4. Create an ad group called “Audience One”.

We are testing different ad creatives for placement on TikTok. When selecting your targeting, it will vary depending on your product and audience. It is recommended to target a broad audience, such as males and females aged 25 and above, to avoid higher CPMS and expensive advertising costs. For interests, you can select any general interest related to your product, or use hashtag targeting for more targeted results. It is ideal to select as many audiences as possible to reach an audience size above 50 million. Set your daily budget to $20 and schedule your ads to run from 6 a.m. to midnight, as this is when most purchases are made. Leave targeting expansion off for this method to be more targeted. At the ad level, add your logo and the name of your store, select your video from the library, and use a short caption with a coupon code. Set the call to action as “shop now” and link it to your product page. Duplicate your ad campaign and add in your other ad creative to split test the ads. Monitor the clickthrough rates to determine the best performing ad.
